Workshops and classes encompass a wide range of topics related to mental health, self improvement, and ways of healing of the mind, body, and spirit. The MOCWC team is comprised of working professionals with a multitude of talents. From Psychotherapy to Gentle Yoga, or Nutritional Consultations to Meditation, we are each devoted to education, and to the restoration of our clients.

GROUP: Wellness Kids Club - $25

This fun social skills club is designed for elementary age children interested in learning about coping skills, problem solving and conflict resolution in a playful and artistic way.This group is designed for kids who are willing to laugh, want to learn tools in a relaxed way, develop friendships and engage in peer support.

This group is limited to 10 participants and costs $25.00. This group meets weekly Wednesdays @ 4:00pm and new members are welcome at any time.

CLASS: Parenting A Resilient Teenager - $30

Parenting A Resilient Teenager

$30 per class

Join this educational group to enhance your parenting skills, support your teen effectively and collaborate with other parents experiencing similar challenges.

This group will teach you how to utilize effective skills such as: Mindfulness, Interpersonal Communication, Distress Tolerance, and Emotion Regulation to address complicated issues of adolescents. Plan to develop your own coping skills as a parent while processing issues of self esteem, peer pressure and understanding what is developmentally appropriate for your teen. Join this group to enhance your parenting skills while collaborating with other parents’ experiencing similar stressors and challenges!

GROUP: Young Adults Group - $30

This weekly group is designed for young adults, ages 17-24, interested in progressing with personal goals, job and school decisions, dating and friendships, self-esteem, independence and positive family relationships. It is a great opportunity to be in a safe place to share about life and make great connections with others.

This group meets weekly every Friday and cost $30 per session.

Having a Loved One diagnosed with a mental illness can be a challenging experience. However, it does not have to be a hopeless experience. With the right support you and your family can overcome the challenges and strengthen your relationships. This Group is designed to help parents and family members better understand their loved ones mental health illness and learn how to successfully manage daily struggles. The group will be a encouraging environment that seeks individual and family development as well as discuss specific ways to effectively support your loved ones symptoms. This support group will be designed to educate family members and help build up the skills necessary to find peace and joy in your family.

CLASS: Gentle Yoga - $15

In our modern, overly stimulating and stressful world, conscious activation of the parasympathetic nervous system is required to fully support a healthy body, mind, and immune system. Practicing Gentle Yoga is about treating yourself with the kindness you deserve and providing yourself with a greater sense of well-being. My Gentle Yoga classes begin with breath awareness and relaxation, feature stretches to warm and awaken the entire body, dynamic movement for strength and flexibility, and Savasana with guided meditation.

This class meets weekly every Tuesday from 6:30pm - 7:30pm or every Saturday from 10:00am - 11:00am for $15. Feel free to join Beginning Meditaiton on Tuesday's at 7:30pm and attend both in the same evening. Due to the popularity of this class, you are encouraged to register ahead of time to ensure your space in the workshop room.  The first class is always complimentary.

CLASS: Beginning Meditation - FREE

Meditation helps to relieve stress, increases happiness, lower blood pressure, and bring a sense of inner peace. Our meditation practice involves a comfortable position as we focus on the breath leading the mind’s attention to the present moment without drifting into concerns about the past or future. Our class includes guided meditation, yoga nidra, concentration, contemplation, visualizations and deep relaxation. Meditation has been described as rejuvenating, energizing, and relaxing.

This class meets weekly every Tuesday from 7:30pm - 8:30pm for FREE. Feel free to join Gentle Yoga at 6:30pm and attend both in the same evening. Due to the popularity of this class, you are encouraged to register ahead of time to ensure your space in the workshop room. The first class is always complimentary.

GROUP: Building Healthy Love Relationships - $30

This group meets weekly for adults seeking tools for healthy relationships. Group skills include mindfulness tools, managing difficult emotions, settling your system, and managing healthy relationship patterns.

GROUP: High School Girls - $30

Thursdays 6:30-8:00PM
Cost: Weekly fee of $30

This workshop is designed for high school girls who are interested in learning techniques to deal with a variety of emotions, improve their relationships, and manage stressful situations.

 The goals of the workshop:

- Provide easy to use everyday skills

- Decrease hurtful behaviors

- Balance emotions & solutions

- Improve communication

- Increase awareness to create behavioral change

- Decrease behaviors that interfere with success

- Learn healthy coping skills

GROUP: High School Boys Group - $30

This group is designed to explore the various aspects of being a high school boy. The goal is to build friendships through a club-like atmosphere of fun, activities and adventures determined by the group members. Topics addressed include: social skills training, athletics and other extra curricular activities, personal development, managing academics, organizing time, being responsible, overcoming fears, changing loneliness, making and growing friendships. This group is designed to promote insight in teenage boys that might be impacted by unique learning styles due to ADHD, anxiety, depression or other social challenges. 

This group meets weekly on Saturdays. The group cost is $30 per session and encourages participation in a once a month social outing for all group members.

    This group focuses on any issues surrounding being a middle school girl. Skill training includes: managing the academic load, organizing time, dealing with social pressures, body image, confidence, responsible choices, and balancing family and friend relation- ships. Keys to this group are having fun while developing friendships and peer support. This group is designed to EMPOWER girls as they grow, learn and prepare for life.

This group focuses on any issues surrounding being a middle school boy. This group is designed to link up boys that would benefit from social skills training and social interactions. Other skill training includes: managing academics, organizing time, dealing with social pressure, growing up, being responsible, and getting along with others. This group is designed for boys who are willing to laugh, want to have fun, develop friendships and peer support.
