Workshops and classes encompass a wide range of topics related to mental health, self improvement, and ways of healing of the mind, body, and spirit. The MOCWC team is comprised of working professionals with a multitude of talents. From Psychotherapy to Gentle Yoga, or Nutritional Consultations to Meditation, we are each devoted to education, and to the restoration of our clients.

This workshop is designed for high school girls who are interested in learning techniques to deal with a variety of emotions, improve their relationships, and manage stressful situations.
The goals of the workshop:
- Provide easy to use everyday skills
- Decrease hurtful behaviors
- Balance emotions & solutions
- Improve communication
- Increase awareness to create behavioral change
- Decrease behaviors that interfere with success
- Learn healthy coping skills

This group focuses on any issues surrounding being a middle school girl. Skill training includes: managing the academic load, organizing time, dealing with social pressures, body image, confidence, responsible choices, and balancing family and friend relation- ships. Keys to this group are having fun while developing friendships and peer support. This group is designed to EMPOWER girls as they grow, learn and prepare for life.

Parenting A Resilient Teenager

Join this educational group to enhance your parenting skills, support your teen effectively and collaborate with other parents experiencing similar challenges.
This group will teach you how to utilize effective skills such as: Mindfulness, Interpersonal Communication, Distress Tolerance, and Emotion Regulation to address complicated issues of adolescents. Plan to develop your own coping skills as a parent while processing issues of self esteem, peer pressure and understanding what is developmentally appropriate for your teen. Join this group to enhance your parenting skills while collaborating with other parents’ experiencing similar stressors and challenges!
Motherhood can be a source of incredible joy and fulfillment—but sometimes it can be overwhelming and exhausting. This support group is designed for mothers of babies and preschoolers and is a safe, non—judgmental space to share victories and struggles alongside other moms who are all just figuring it out, together. Mindfulness and art therapy activities will be used to reduce stress, improve mood, and help you thrive. No artistic experience necessary.
